The organization
of the Grand Final Road to Mallorca launches the campaign to recruit volunteers
to collaborate during the celebration of this tournament that will take place
in the Club of Alcanada between November 7 and 10, 2019 and which will be attended by the 45 best players of the European Challenge Tour, all of them hoping to
finish in the top 15 and graduate for the European Tour.
Volunteers of

Positions to be filled: About 50 people are
required each day
Marshal: A marshal is a volunteer who has to be on a hole to control and maintain
silence from the spectators who are watching the players playing at that time.
Their main job is to ensure that there is silence from 10 seconds before the
player hits the ball until the shot is complete.
Moving marshal: The same role as a marshal but they follow
the group they have been assigned to for 18 holes.
Scorer: A volunteer who follows their assigned match
for 18 holes, always behind and without bothering the group, recording the results
of the 2 or 3 players in the group.
Leaderboard: Similar to scorers, but instead of recording
the player’s results on each hole, this person simply carries a large sign with
the names of the players in the group they are following and changes their
total score on the sign whenever necessary.
Fixed Leaderboard: Another type of Leaderboard volunteer is the
Fixed Leaderboard volunteer who is positioned wherever the European Tour places
the large leaderboards with the top 5 scores and their work is to change the
scores on their fixed leaderboard to what it says on the board given to them by
the European Tour.
